Job Overview

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with intake procedures to ensure a seamless check\-in process.
  • Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates with precision.
  • Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks including wound care, and basic life support during emergencies
  • Support documentation efforts by updating electronic health record (EHR) systems accurately with patient information, diagnoses (ICD coding), and treatment details
  • Conduct specimen collection as directed by medical staff in clinic setting.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas while adhering to safety protocols for infection control and clinic standards.
  • Qualifications

  • Prior experience in medical settings such as hospital medicine, outpatient clinics, or specialty units like dermatology or internal medicine is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and patient care procedures across diverse specialties including ICU (PICU), trauma centers (Level I \& II), emergency medicine, geriatrics, and surgical environments
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Familiarity with EHR systems for accurate data entry and documentation is essential
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service excellence and teamwork in fast\-paced environments
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in inpatient or outpatient settings
