Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Assistant Project Manager to join our team and support the successful execution of various projects. This role is vital in supporting projects from planning through completion including managing administrative tasks and ensuring smooth communication across teams. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills to help drive projects forward with energy and precision. This role will work closely with internal teams, field personnel, and external partners to ensure projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in alignment with AGES standards. This position offers flexibility for a combination of in\-office and remote work, with periodic field involvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing all phases of construction projects from planning through final implementation
  • Coordinate scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation for assigned projects
  • Supervise on\-site personnel and subcontractors to ensure timelines and quality standards are met
  • Serve as a point of contact between inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
  • Review and negotiate change orders to ensure fair and reasonable costs
  • Maintain AGES’ high standards of workmanship and adherence to approved plans and specifications
  • Conduct site visits, audits, and field inspections as required (approximately 15–25% travel)
  • Proactively identify issues and support resolution to keep projects on track
  • Qualifications \& Skills

  • Prior experience in construction management, project management, or a related field
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and data entry software
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC installation, plumbing installation, and core construction materials
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage both people and priorities
  • Effective negotiation, problem\-solving, and decision\-making abilities
  • Highly organized, detail\-oriented, and deadline\-driven
  • Comfortable learning and using new systems and technology (audit tools, take\-off software, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Ability to respond to project needs as they arise, including outside of standard business hours when necessary
  • Strong multitasking and self\-management skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross\-functional teams
  • Calm, professional demeanor in fast\-paced or high\-pressure situations
  • Excellent communication and relationship\-building skills
  • Experience in multi\-family construction or renovation projects is a plus

    Pay: $38,000\.00 \- $65,000\.00 per year
