Legal Assistant – HOA Division

We are seeking a Legal Assistant to support our HOA team with document preparation, debt collection, data entry, and administrative duties. This role involves following tasks from attorneys while reporting to the managing partner of the division.Key Responsibilities
- Assist with foreclosure actions, including preparing liens and Notices of Default• Update delinquent accounts, calculating late fees and interest• Prepare and finalize demand letters• Conduct title searches and research active bankruptcy cases• Use billing and calendaring systems• Communicate with board members, homeowners, and clients• Maintain and file judicial and non\-judicial collection files• Perform data entry and document filing, including court submissions• Draft legal documents, contracts, and correspondence• Assist in trial preparation, including organizing discovery and exhibits• Perform general administrative tasks as needed
Desired Qualifications• Proficient in MS Office• Experience in HOA legal admin or assistant roles• Full\-time, in\-person availability (remote option negotiable)• High school diploma required; college degree preferred• 1–3\+ years of experience• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines• Excellent communication and writing skills• Knowledge of legal terms and procedures• Ability to multitask in a fast\-paced environment• Ability to meet physical job requirements (lifting up to 20 lbs)
