Compass Education Group is seeking an Administrative Coordinator for our Group Instruction team.

Full\-time, Hourly: Sunday through Thursday, 9:00am\-5:00pm local time.

This is a remote position. Depending on location, a hybrid schedule may be possible, but this is not required.

Compensation: $24/hour

The Role:

The Administrative Coordinator for Group Instruction is a highly organized, detail\-oriented professional responsible for daily administrative tasks related to Compass’s online and in\-person classes. This position assists our Group Instruction team by providing quality\-based administrative support of active and prospective Compass classes and clients. The Administrative Coordinator reports to the Senior Director of Group Instruction. This is a remote position from a home office, but if the Administrative Coordinator would prefer to work a hybrid schedule, it may be possible to do so, depending on location.

Essential Functions:

  • Promote continuous client and instructor satisfaction with their program through prompt responses to questions.
  • Help with communication to instructors; ensure instructors’ prompt and successful connection to programs and preparedness for classes.
  • Monitor instructor feedback and performance; help with developing classroom instructor resources.
  • Update web pages with school partnership program registration information and deadlines.
  • Maintain website organization – remove workshop and program registrations when deadlines pass.
  • Maintain discount and enrollment codes for special school and counselor relationships.
  • Reply to routine administrative emails from potential or current group instruction parents and students.
  • Work with other admin team members to ensure accurate, neat, and efficient delivery of instructional materials to all Compass instructors, school coordinators, and enrolled students.
  • Attend appropriate teamwide and Group Instruction departmental meetings.
  • Manage post\-program outreach to participating families to collect feedback.
  • Monitor student engagement in each class in our database (attendance, homework completion, office hours usage).
  • Share questions and feedback with appropriate team members, and address any remaining concerns to keep our clients feeling loyal and enthusiastic about their experiences.
  • Support the Managing Director and other team members with administrative, operational, and organizational duties and projects as needed.
  • The Ideal Candidate:

At Compass, our employees stand out not only for what they do but also for how they think. We ask for conscientious and consistent effort to align daily actions with our ethical standards and long term goals.

While handling the busy demands of a routine day, our ideal Administrative Coordinator for Group Instruction will remain highly reliable, dependable, and consistent. We are looking for a person that is warm and unflappable, friendly and polished. You are comfortable and efficient communicating with a wide variety of people through email. Versatility and flexibility are also important qualities. (You easily shift focus from addressing an instructor’s scheduling questions to spot\-checking the percentage of students who completed their homework.) You naturally take initiative in order to keep progressing through the day’s responsibilities. We especially care about the way you’ll communicate with your Compass teammates, your professional replies to our clients’ logistical questions, your attention to details, and your willingness and ability to keep a bustling quality\-conscious company moving.

    In Return:

We strive to make our employees feel confident and secure, trusted and supported. We look for hard\-working team players who seek a work environment that is casual, friendly, fast\-paced, organized, collegial, and non\-bureaucratic. This role interacts most directly with the other members of the Compass Group Instruction team and the Senior Director of Group Instruction. They also consistently collaborate with 30\+ other Compass full\-time employees across all regional offices and dozens of part\-time instructors in the field. We are committed to providing the help — and the autonomy — needed to succeed.

    Qualifications:

  • Meaningful professional experience in a related role.
  • Professional comportment and demeanor.
  • Outstanding computer and organizational skills; consistent accuracy and attention to details.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Consistent work habits; strong work ethic; trustworthy; dependable.
  • Interest in educational services is a plus. A client\-centric mindset is a must.
  • Ability to work remotely.
