Job Title: Construction Site \& Logistics Assistant (Part\-Time)
Compensation:
$25/hour. This role starts part\-time (possibly half\-time or even less initially) and may grow into more hours depending on performance and business needs over the next several months.
About the Role:
We are a small residential construction company looking for a reliable, hands\-on assistant to help with day\-to\-day construction operations, logistics, and general site support. This is a flexible role for someone who is organized, practical, and comfortable around construction environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and assist with material deliveries and subcontractor needs onsite.
- Pick up materials and supplies from Home Depot, suppliers, or warehouses as needed.
- Handle daily construction needs, including small forgotten items, urgent pickups, or miscellaneous site\-related tasks that come up during the day.
- Organize, move, store, and occasionally return unused materials.
- Perform light labor work when needed, including loading/unloading materials, moving items, cleaning up small areas, or assisting onsite crews.
- Drive trucks and occasionally trailers to transport materials, tools, or equipment between sites or suppliers. Company vehicle/truck can be provided when needed.
- Assist with measurements, checking quantities, verifying materials, and basic site\-related calculations.
- Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to get quotes, coordinate deliveries, or confirm material availability.
- Help keep projects organized and moving efficiently day to day.
- Work will primarily be scheduled on weekdays.
- Schedule will typically be communicated at least one day in advance whenever possible.
- Hours may vary depending on construction needs, deliveries, subcontractor schedules, or project phases. Some days may be short while others may require longer hours.
- Flexibility and reliability are important for this role
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
- Projects are located primarily in Marble Falls area. Candidates living in or near the area are strongly preferred due to the flexible and onsite nature of the role.
- Valid driver’s license and comfortable driving trucks.
- Familiarity with residential construction materials and job site environments.
- Light handyman or basic construction skills are a strong plus.
- Comfortable using tools and helping with small onsite tasks when needed.
- The role involves helping coordinate day\-to\-day construction activities and supporting smooth project operations in a fast\-paced environment.
- Organized, dependable, flexible, and able to solve small day\-to\-day problems independently.
- Comfortable with both physical work and coordination/communication tasks.
