About Althing

Althing is not your typical clinic. We are a modernized healthcare experience that eliminates wait times and prioritizes Civil Rights through technology. Using our proprietary MedBay and Phrazer/Kitsune system, we provide personalized care that adapts to a patient’s language, literacy, and culture. At Althing, we believe in a "never alone" experience—where patients are empowered, and providers are instantly accessible.

The Role

We are seeking a Patient Flow and Care Advocate. This is a mission\-critical role that serves as the bridge between our cutting\-edge technology and our patients. You are more than a receptionist; you are a navigator who ensures that the clinical workflow is seamless, and every patient feels fully supported from the moment they walk in (or log in) to the moment they receive their care plan.

Key Responsibilities

* Claims \& Billing Management: Verify insurance coverage, resolve billing discrepancies, and assist patients with self\-pay options.

* Clinical Advocacy: Act as a "Process Advocate" by ensuring patients understand their rights, treatment options, and follow\-up care.

* Workflow Optimization: Coordinate between on\-site staff and virtual providers to maintain our "Zero Wait" promise.

* Administrative Excellence: Manage medical records and chart integration with absolute accuracy, ensuring seamless data flow between Althing and other health systems.

Who You Are

* A "Tech\-Savvy" Humanist: You are comfortable with advanced medical technology but never lose sight of the person in front of you.

* Equity\-Minded: You are passionate about Althing’s mission to provide inclusive care to diverse populations.

* Problem Solver: You don’t just report issues; you find ways to improve the clinical process for the patient’s benefit.

Qualifications

  • 2\+ years of experience in medical reception or patient advocacy (preferred).
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a significant advantage given our diverse patient base.

  • Comfortable working in a fast\-paced, technology\-enhanced environment.
  • Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
  • Why Join Althing?

  • Work at the forefront of healthcare innovation.
  • Be part of a model that is actively reducing healthcare costs and improving access for rural and underserved communities.
