Job Purpose

- Perform manual data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Review 6 months of utility and waste records across diverse sites from various utility providers, transposing key data points into a templated format that can be uploaded into Salesforce NetZero Cloud, the company’s greenhouse gas accounting platform.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Minimum 20/Maximum 40 hours per week and flexible depending on school schedule provided.

- Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Data Management, Business Information Systems or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe Pro.
- Ability to work independently on repetitive tasks.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- Passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship.

We are looking for an intern to join our sustainability team and assist with a critical project focused on manual data entry. The intern will play a key role in collating important information that will help Herc Rentals set a new greenhouse gas emissions intensity target. This position requires a candidate with strong attention to detail and an interest in gaining career exposure to corporate sustainability.
