#### Overview
A Senior Lending Administrative Assistant supports the Lenders with their role in developing, originating, servicing and maintaining bank customer relationships. The individual must command a sound understanding of the various policies, procedures and regulations as they relate to various real estate, commercial and consumer loans originated by the Bank. Performs various support duties pertinent to meeting the needs of customers and development of new business.
#### Responsibilities
- Decision daily NSF and OD activity for accounts assigned to Loan Officer including reviewing items, account activity and contacting the customer when necessary.
- Handle customer service needs for customers assigned to Loan Officer including account transfers, line of credit advances, payments and other account maintenance needs.
- Screen incoming phone calls for the Loan Officer and manage calendar appointment scheduling.
- Organize and maintain customer files for loans in process in an orderly fashion.
- Contact loan customers regarding past due loan payments.
- Review customer files for maturing loans and contact customers in advance of the maturities with requests for updated information required to process.
- Review collateral and credit exceptions on a regular basis and contact the customers and other parties required in order to clear those exceptions in a timely fashion.
- Process loan files to assist with loan underwriting, documentation and closing. Tasks include:
- Review and process construction loan advances.
- Remain current on all pertinent consumer lending and other financial institution related laws and regulations.
- Promote Bank products and services.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 3\+ years of commercial lending or loan assistant experience, with exposure to:
- Minimum of 2 years banking experience a customer facing role.
- Experience supporting multiple loan officers or a lending team
- Familiarity with loan documentation, underwriting packages, and closing coordination
- Strong understanding of:
- Ability to review and interpret loan agreements and financial documents
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook / Teams
- Knowledge of Contact Management systems, Database software.
- Notary Registration \- must be willing to obtain and maintain notary licensing.

- Ability to manage high\-volume pipelines with competing deadlines

+ Preparing, reviewing and delivering loan disclosures.
+ Reviewing the file for additional information needed and communicating with the customer.
+ Ordering title insurance commitments and obtaining title company fees.
+ Ordering appraisals and appraisal reviews.
+ Ordering and reviewing flood determinations.
+ Coordinating closing times with title companies and loan customers.
+ Preparing customers for loan closing including informing them of cash needed for closing and documentation required such as evidence of hazard insurance.
+ Preparation of loan worksheets for loan approvals.
+ Ordering, reviewing and delivering loan documentation to loan closing including loan documents, closing instructions and closing disclosures.
+ Funding of the loan including distribution of loan proceeds and collection and proper accounting of fees and expenses.
+ Prepare HMDA reporting on requisite loans.
+ Compiling and delivering the loan package to Loan Operations for booking.
