Slimeatory is a social media influencer\-style experience store, created by YouTuber Just Ameerah and her family, with over 5 million subscribers on YouTube and a large following across multiple social media platforms. Our stores bring the online world to life, giving customers a chance to step into the content and be part of the experience.
From birthday parties to custom events, we create magical, hands\-on experiences that include decorations, balloons, slime\-making classes, and even mascot appearances.
Position Overview
We are looking for a strong, experienced Store Manager to lead our Brea location. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast\-paced, high\-energy environment and has experience managing both retail operations and events/parties.
You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, leading the team, ensuring exceptional customer service, and executing unforgettable party and workshop experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership \& Team Management
- Lead, train, and manage store team members
- Create a positive, high\-energy, and productive work environment
- Schedule staff and ensure proper coverage for store and events
- Hold team members accountable to company standards
- Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth workflow
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and visual presentation of the store
- Manage inventory and coordinate weekly slime restocks
- Ensure the Slime DIY Bar is fully stocked, clean, and operating efficiently
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee birthday parties and special events
- Ensure party setups include decorations, balloons, and materials
- Host or supervise slime workshops/classes
- Coordinate mascot appearances and ensure smooth execution
- Deliver a fun, memorable, and high\-quality guest experience
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times
- Handle customer concerns professionally and efficiently
- Create a welcoming and exciting environment for guests
- Write and respond to emails professionally
- Communicate with customers regarding bookings, events, and inquiries
- Coordinate with upper management on operations and performance
- Required: Previous management experience (retail, events, or hospitality)
- Experience hosting or managing parties, events, or workshops
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast\-paced environment
- Professional email writing and communication skills
- Energetic, positive, and solution\-oriented mindset
- Experience in kids entertainment, party hosting, or creative environments
