We are looking for a motivated and detail\-oriented Marketing Assistant to support the performance marketing team. This person must be proactive, solution\-oriented, and extremely attentive to details. This is a junior or entry\-level role ideal for someone excited about ecommerce or performance marketing.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, this role will support the execution of campaigns across channels like email, SMS, app, paid media, partnerships, and more. The Marketing Assistant will help with content creation, campaign setup, reporting, and coordination, gaining hands\-on experience in performance marketing and data analysis within a fast\-paced ecommerce environment.
Schedule: This is a hybrid position based at our office in Chico, CA, with in\-office days Tuesday \- Thursday.
What You’ll Do
- Support the marketing team with QA needs, market research, and administrative tasks
- Assist in filling out campaign and creative briefs, collaborating with the design team to ensure all necessary information is clearly outlined
- Help gather assets, product information, and messaging inputs needed for campaign execution
- Pull and organize performance reports for various channels and KPIs
- Build emails using templates and design systems; draft and edit basic marketing copy for emails, SMS, and push notifications
- Help refresh and update content across channels including automated customer journeys to reflect new collections, promotions, and seasonal messaging
- Maintain organized documentation related to campaigns, promotions, and automated journeys
- Support ongoing updates to calendars, trackers, and workflow tools
- Assist with ad hoc performance marketing projects as needed
- 0–2 years of experience in marketing, ecommerce, or a related field (internships included)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfort/proficiency in Excel including conditional formatting and basic formulas
- Exceptional written skills with perfect grammar and spelling, and an interest in copywriting and brand storytelling
- Comfortable working in a data\-driven, fast\-paced environment
- Familiarity with email or SMS marketing tools (e.g., Klaviyo, Attentive, or similar) is a plus but not required
- Advanced Excel skills, like pivot tables and complex formulas
- Eagerness to learn lifecycle marketing, retention strategies, and ecommerce best practices
- Interest in fashion, women’s apparel, creative, or ecommerce marketing
- Collaborative mindset and positive attitude
