- Oversee all aspects of the Internal Medicine Residency Program, including administrative operations, curriculum development, resident recruitment, and clinical education and supervision.
- Build the GME program, obtain ACGME accreditation, and be part of a large academic network focusing on excellence in resident education and patient care.
- Be accountable for the overall program including, compliance with all applicable ACGME program requirements.
- 0\.5 FTE protected time devoted to performance of administrative PD duties
- 0\.5 FTE devoted to clinical patient care.

- Current certification in Internal Medicine by either the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM).
- Experience in curriculum development, evaluation methodology, teaching and mentoring residents.
- At least three years of documented education and/or administrative experience, such as serving as a PD, Associate PD, or in a faculty position at an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine residency program.
- Experience working as part of an interdisciplinary, interprofessional team to create an education environment that promotes high\-quality care, patient safety, and resident well\-being.
- POCUS and procedure skills are supported by the program but not required.
- A 300\-bed community\-based hospital – the only hospital in Jefferson County
