Position Overview
Reporting to the HR Director of Americas, the HR Intern will be responsible for supporting the day\-to\-day HR Operations and for overseeing the general administrative duties across their organization’s office. They are responsible for welcoming visitors, coordinating meetings, appointments and directing various administrative projects.
Responsibilities
- Greets clients and employees at the front desk and ensures they receive the best in customer care.
- Answers the phones in a timely manner and directs calls to appropriate team members.
- Manages meeting room schedules during the hiring process.
- Assist with onsite interviews and welcoming new hires
- Help coordinate internal interviews as needed
- Order office supplies and its inventory.
- Handle the onboarding and offboarding of the site employees.
- Maintain meeting minutes and preparing reports
- Ensure offices are prepared for applicable personnel .
- Assists with employee record keeping.
- Assists with the planning and implementing or employee recognition activities.
- Maintains strict confidentiality.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 3 or more years of experience in an administrative role.
- Advance proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Experience with mail merge and V\-LOOKUPs with put you ahead.
- Ability to plan, organize and meet strict timelines.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Ability to manage several high priority projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, planning and project management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Experience with a manufacturing organization.
- Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Must be able to see and respond to dangerous situations.
- Must be able sit for longer periods of time as well as move about throughout the office and machine shop environment.
- Must be able to wear PPE when on the production floor.
