The administrative staff ensures that Manos Home Care’s commitment to stakeholders is reflected in all operations. We provide our clients and their families the best possible care through providing necessary resources to administrative and direct care staff.

Job Duties

The Billing Analyst is the backbone of our billing and collections processes. Using our custom software package and excel, the Billing Analyst will track authorizations, communicate with key internal and external stakeholders, and own billing and collections with the Regional Centers for care provided each month.

  • Process Purchase of Service authorizations from the Regional Center
  • Process eBilling spreadsheets for monthly billing
  • Recon
  • Process payment spreadsheets for monthly billing
  • Perform reconciliations between billing and payments
  • Maintain billing and pay rates
  • Communicate billing issues with internal support department and external accountants at the Regional Center
  • Abilities

    To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite including knowledge of basic formulas (sum, count, if, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus in a busy environment
  • Critical thinking skills and creative problem solving
  • The ability to meet and manage deadlines independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English (the ability to speak a language other than English is a plus!)

  • Requirements

    You must be:

  • Fluent in conversational English
  • Able to write coherent, grammatically correct sentences and paragraphs in English
  • Computer literate
  • Able to relate to a wide variety of cultures, backgrounds, and abilities
  • Able to maintain focus and work under deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail and an impeccable level of accuracy
  • Data entry and processing experience, preferably in billing and/or collections
  • Preferred Experience

  • Some College
  • Billing and Collections experience
  • Familiarity working with Regional Centers, other governmental payers, and/or insurance
  • This is an hourly, non\-exempt position. Office hours are from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Work may be required outside of these hours.

    Wages and Benefits

    This position is non\-exempt; work outside of regular office hours may be required as needed. Office Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon, and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding designated office closures.

  • $35\.00per hour

  • Mileage reimbursement per current IRS rates for any Manos\-related appointments or errands involving use of your car
