About Veritech Supply LLC
Veritech Supply LLC is a U.S.\-based technology and resource management company supporting high\-impact engagements in the software and digital solutions space. As we continue to grow, we are establishing a dedicated finance and accounting function based in our Plantation, FL office — and we are looking for the right person to lead it.
The Role
We are hiring an Accounting Manager to run Veritech’s accounting function and grow it as the company scales. From day one, you will own the books — closing the month, paying vendors and contractors, managing cash, coordinating with our tax advisors, and giving leadership a clear picture of where the business stands financially.
Because the function is being built out, you will also shape how it runs: refining systems, writing the policies, and eventually hiring the team that supports you. This role starts part\-time and transitions to full\-time as volume grows. It is well\-suited to a hands\-on accounting professional who wants both the operating responsibility and the room to build.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Operations
- Own day\-to\-day accounting operations: general ledger, AP, AR, expense management, and payroll oversight.
- Lead month\-end and year\-end close; deliver timely, accurate financial statements to leadership.
- Manage cash flow, vendor payments, and contractor disbursements (multi\-currency where applicable).
- Maintain bank, credit card, and payment platform reconciliations on a current basis.
- Keep organized, audit\-ready records and documentation at all times.
- Coordinate with external CPA and tax advisors on federal, Florida, and multi\-state filings.
- Manage annual tax preparation and any audits or regulatory filings.
- Ensure timely and accurate W2 and 1099 reporting in coordination with payroll providers.
- Stay current on tax and compliance obligations relevant to a growing U.S. services business.
- Operate, refine, and where needed implement the accounting platform and supporting tools (e.g., QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Xero, Sage Intacct, or comparable).
- Maintain and improve the chart of accounts, accounting policies, internal controls, and approval workflows.
- Build dashboards and reporting that give leadership real visibility into financial performance.
- Hire, onboard, and mentor additional accounting staff (clerks, AP/AR specialists) as volume grows.
- Partner with HR and operations on payroll, benefits accounting, and contractor payment workflows.
- Serve as the internal point of contact for finance\-related questions across the organization.
- Support contract review from a financial and operational perspective (payment terms, billing structure, revenue recognition).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Bilingual English / Spanish.
- Experience in services, staffing, technology, or professional services industries.
- Experience working with international contractors and cross\-border payment workflows.
- Prior experience hiring and managing a small accounting team.
- Comfortable owning the close, the books, and the day\-to\-day work — not just supervising it.
- Strong command of U.S. GAAP, multi\-entity bookkeeping, and month\-end close discipline.
- Selects and configures accounting platforms thoughtfully; comfortable evaluating tools, integrations, and workflows.
- Writes clear policies and procedures that scale with the business and survive staff turnover.
- Takes full responsibility for the books, the calendar, and the numbers — no hand\-holding required.
- Explains financial information clearly to non\-finance leaders and external partners alike.
- Handles sensitive financial and personnel data with absolute confidentiality and sound judgment.
