Job Summary
We are seeking a highly detail\-oriented Bookkeeper / Accounting Clerk who is a true subject matter expert in QuickBooks Online and can take ownership of maintaining accurate, organized, and audit\-ready financial records. This role requires someone who understands how to properly manage QuickBooks Online beyond basic data entry, including transaction categorization, account reconciliation, chart of accounts organization, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working independently inside QuickBooks Online, identifying errors, cleaning up inconsistencies, reconciling accounts, and ensuring that financial records are accurate, current, and properly classified. This position is best suited for someone who has strong bookkeeping experience, understands accounting workflows, and can support management with reliable financial reporting.
Experience assisting with tax preparation, payroll support, or CPA coordination is a plus, but this is not a CPA or tax strategist role. The primary focus is accurate bookkeeping, clean QuickBooks records, timely reconciliations, and dependable accounting support for a growing company.
