Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and organized part\-time Medical Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our office. This Medical Administrative Assistant role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast\-paced healthcare environment and providing excellent administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:
- Call patients to confirm appointments
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls
- Schedule and reschedule patient appointments as needed
- Create and maintain accurate patient charts
- Perform data entry and update electronic medical records
- Monitor and address fax inbox
- Handle telephone encounters and follow\-up actions
- Prepare and send mail correspondence
- Provide administrative support to the Office Administrator
- Previous experience in a medical office is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus (experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) preferred)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and phone etiquette
- Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to relocate to or commute to Rockledge, FL 32955 prior to starting work
- Availability to work 2–3 days per week (20–25 hours)
- Must be reliable, punctual, and detail\-oriented
- In\-person role in a medical office setting

The employee is frequently required to walk; sit; use hands for fine manipulation, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms using a keyboard and video display terminal. The employee is occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and climb stairs. The employee should be able to lift and move up to 25 lbs.
