Position Overview
The Bedford Group Insurance is seeking a highly driven, detail\-oriented Insurance Account Manager who thrives in a fast\-paced, high\-accountability environment. This role requires urgency, precision, and proactive client management. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, responsible for servicing, remarketing, quoting, binding, and managing policies efficiently through EZLynx and carrier platforms.
This is not a passive service role. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, moves quickly, follows up relentlessly, and understands that speed, accuracy, and client responsiveness drive retention and growth.

Core Responsibilities Client Management \& Retention
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts, responding to client inquiries with urgency and professionalism.
- Manage renewals proactively — review policies in advance, remarket when appropriate, and present coverage recommendations clearly and confidently.
- Identify coverage gaps and cross\-sell opportunities to strengthen client protection and agency revenue.
- Deliver same\-day responses whenever possible; maintain strict follow\-up discipline.
- Generate accurate quotes using EZLynx comparative rating system and carrier portals.
- Ensure all client data is properly entered, documented, and maintained within EZLynx.
- Track submissions, follow\-ups, and tasks daily to prevent missed opportunities.
- Maintain organized digital files and adhere to agency workflow processes.
- Follow up on inbound leads with speed and professionalism.
- Assist in closing new business by explaining coverage options clearly and addressing objections confidently.
- Support outbound remarketing and referral initiatives.
- Participate in cross\-selling efforts (home, auto, umbrella, commercial, etc.).
- Process endorsements, certificates, ID cards, and policy changes efficiently.
- Maintain compliance with carrier underwriting guidelines and documentation standards.
- Ensure accurate recordkeeping and adherence to privacy and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor renewals daily and maintain an organized pipeline.
- High responsiveness and same\-day communication standard.
- Strong task management within EZLynx — no open loops.
- Clear, proactive renewal strategy execution.
- Consistent cross\-sell activity.
- Professional, solution\-focused client communication.
- 2\+ years of insurance account management experience preferred.
- Active 2\-20 or 4\-40 Florida license.
- Strong working knowledge of EZLynx (required).
- Experience with carrier portals and comparative quoting tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong follow\-through and time management discipline.
