At Coachbit, we help students build the skills and habits they need to thrive in school and life. Our app combines one\-on\-one coaching with habit\-building tools to guide students toward lasting success.

We’re looking for caring, committed Coaches to support our students through live check\-ins, daily accountability, and strong parent communication. This is a great fit for people who want to make an impact, value flexibility, and enjoy working independently within a supportive team.

BASIC DETAILS

Location: Remote

Contract Type: Independent Contractor

Hours: Flexible / Part\-time. Minimum two\-hour weekly or daily blocks based on Standard or Premium coaching

Expected Start Date: ASAP

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Coachbit Coach, you will have three main responsibilities:

1\. Live Coaching Sessions

• Host engaging 15\-minute video check\-ins with students weekly or daily.
• Build trust and motivate students to stick to their habits.
• Take students on a journey to help them navigate life

2\. Accountability and Support

• Check in with students on non\-video days via the Coachbit in\-app chat.
• Provide encouragement, habit feedback, and reminders.
• Maintain clear, respectful, and consistent communication with parents.

3\. Admin, Training and Team Support

• Complete session notes, habit tracking, and all required admin on time.
• Complete mandatory training, a background check, and maintain your Coachbit profile.
• Attend check\-ins with your Team Lead and participate in regular feedback sessions.
• Notify Coachbit at least 2 weeks in advance of any changes to your availability or planned leave.

REQUIREMENTS

• Stable, high\-speed internet and a quiet, distraction\-free coaching environment.
• High\-quality webcam (1080p minimum) and noise\-cancelling microphone.
• Able to commit to fixed time blocks for 12 months.
• Must be patient, dependable, and consistent. Sticking to your schedule and showing up for your students is crucial.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with young people, education, or coaching is a plus.
• Must be able to demonstrate a confident presence on camera. This includes clear speech, positive energy, and professional presentation.
• Experience as a tutor, coach, or teacher is advantageous.

HOURS AND COMPENSATION

Coaches are paid per student per month, with rates determined by:

• Coaching Format: Standard (weekly video check\-in \+ accountability) or Premium (daily video check\-ins)
• Coaching Hours: Low, Medium, or High\-demand slots.

Based on the format and demand slot, you can earn between R300 and R2000 per student per month. You will initially be able to take on up to six students. Based on your performance, you can apply to take on more students with time and increase your earnings.
