About the Role
As our clinic continues to expand across multiple locations, we are seeking a proactive and detail\-oriented Human Resources Assistant to serve as the vital link between our leadership, our employees, and our ADP HR management team. This role is designed for a professional who thrives in a fast\-paced healthcare environment and possesses a solid understanding of the specific regulatory landscape in California.
This is a hybrid position that offers the flexibility to work from home while maintaining a strong physical presence within our clinics to support our leadership and staff.
Key Responsibilities
* ADP \& Payroll Liaison: Serve as the main intermediary between the ADP HR team and our employees; manage data entry, payroll processing oversight, and troubleshooting within the ADP platform.
* Compliance \& California Law: Ensure all clinic operations align with California Labor Code and HR regulations, including wage and hour laws, meal/rest break compliance, and leave of absence administration.
* Onboarding \& Talent Acquisition: Coordinate the end\-to\-end onboarding process. You will be expected to be on\-site for conducting in\-person interviews and welcoming new hires.
* Employee Relations \& Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries. On\-site attendance is required for staff meetings and direct strategy sessions with clinic managers.
* Administrative Support: Maintain accurate digital personnel files and assist in the development of clinical policy memos and performance review structures.
Work Schedule \& Hybrid Structure

- Conducting candidate interviews.
- Leading or participating in monthly/quarterly staff meetings.

Qualifications \& Skills
* Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in an HR support role, preferably within a healthcare or multi\-site clinical setting.
* Software Proficiency: Hands\-on experience with ADP is highly preferred.
* Regulatory Knowledge: Strong foundational knowledge of California HR laws and employment regulations.
* Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between remote and in\-person teams.
* Logistics: Must have reliable transportation and the ability to commute to our clinic sites as needed for the tasks mentioned above.
