Job Overview
Starlight Dance Company is seeking a detail\-oriented and reliable Studio Administrative \& Marketing Assistant to support daily operations and communication within our studio.
This is a part\-time, in\-person position (Monday–Thursday, 4:00–7:00 PM) focused on executing administrative, enrollment, and marketing tasks under the direction of the studio owner. The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a fast\-paced, team\-oriented environment.
This role supports the studio owner, who maintains final decision\-making on all operations, communication, and marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative \& Parent Communication
- Respond to parent inquiries via email, text, and studio systems in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain organized records and assist with data entry (Jackrabbit)
- Provide general administrative support and keep communication systems organized
- Respond to new inquiries and schedule trial classes
- Send confirmations, reminders, and follow\-ups for trial students
- Track leads, trials, and enrollments using studio systems
- Conduct follow\-up communication (text/email/phone)
- Assist with tuition processing and payment tracking through Jackrabbit
- Send payment reminders and follow up on outstanding balances
- Flag any billing concerns or exceptions for review
- Create and post content on Instagram and Facebook (photos, videos, captions)
- Assist with capturing in\-studio content during classes
- Respond to messages and comments on social platforms
- Support execution of marketing initiatives
- Assist in drafting and formatting a monthly studio newsletter
- Compile announcements, reminders, and upcoming events for review
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and follow structured processes
- Comfortable with technology (Google Workspace; experience with Jackrabbit is a plus)
- Customer service experience preferred
- Social media familiarity (Instagram and Facebook) required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Dance experience is preferred!
