POSITION OVERVIEW:

Serves as the administrative bridge between the Product team and IT Security, ensuring platform integrity across all six clouds while driving AI readiness and vendor partner management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Manage all Marketing Cloud (SFMC) administration including Journey Builder configuration, Automation Studio job management, Content Builder governance, send classification and delivery profile maintenance, IP warming execution support, and SAP/sender authentication.
  • Administer Data environments including data stream monitoring, identity resolution rule health checks, segment activation troubleshooting, ingestion pipeline alerts, and Calculated Insight refresh schedules across the shipment record architecture.
  • Serve as the platform\-wide Salesforce Shield administrator: configure and maintain Platform Encryption (field\-level and deterministic), Event Monitoring dashboards and SIEM routing, and Field Audit Trail retention policies across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Data Cloud.
  • Manage DLP policy configuration and enforcement in partnership with the CISO, including Transaction Security Policies, session management rules, data classification labels, and third\-party DLP vendor integration (Nightfall AI, Strac, or equivalent).
  • Manage Marketing Cloud Connect (MCC) synchronization between SFMC and Sales Cloud, including subscriber key alignment, synchronized data extension architecture, polling configuration, and send logging integrity.
  • Administer Attribution Hub operational health: monitor all demand channel data flows through Data Cloud, troubleshoot activation target failures, and maintain channel\-level segment definitions in partnership with Marketing Cloud Product.
  • Configure and maintain Cloud Pages environments, AMPscript\-based lead capture forms, web\-to\-lead flows, and CAN\-SPAM/state\-level opt\-in consent management configurations.
  • Lead cross\-cloud security audits: quarterly Health Check reviews, permission set hygiene, login anomaly investigation, API usage monitoring, and compliance readiness documentation for SOC 2, CCPA, and public company requirements.
  • Manage vendor partner relationships and contracts for deliverability monitoring (Everest/Validity), list hygiene (BriteVerify), contact enrichment (ZoomInfo), and DLP enforcement tools. Serve as the primary technical contact for vendor escalations and integration health.
  • Configure and govern Agentforce AI capabilities within Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud, including marketing agent configurations, AI\-generated content guardrails, Einstein Trust Layer settings, and prompt template administration.
  • Author and maintain platform security documentation including encryption key management procedures (BYOK or EKM via Azure Key Vault), incident response playbooks for data exposure events, and Shield coverage gap matrices across all six clouds.
  • Mentor and provide technical oversight to Level 3 and Level 4 Administrators. Establish configuration standards, change management procedures, and administrative governance practices for the entire admin team.
  • Manage environment management strategy for Marketing Cloud and Data sandboxes, coordinate refresh schedules with the CI/CD pipeline (Copado/GitHub) and maintain environment parity documentation.
  • Support and monitor integrations between Salesforce and key Commercial/Operational systems including quoting/pricing engines, customer portals, identity systems, and data platforms: troubleshoot data flow or sync issues.
  • Support UAT execution for Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud releases, including test environment configuration, send domain verification, and deliverability validation in pre\-production environments.
  • Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, computer science or related field
  • Seven (7\) years of Salesforce administration experience with at least 3 years administering Marketing Cloud Engagement (SFMC), including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder, and Cloud Pages.
  • Demonstrated experience administering Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP), including data stream configuration, identity resolution monitoring, segment activation troubleshooting, and Calculated Insight management.
  • Hands\-on experience with Salesforce Shield administration: Platform Encryption configuration, Event Monitoring dashboard creation, Field Audit Trail policy management, and Transaction Security Policy implementation.
  • Proven track record managing DLP or data classification programs in Salesforce environments, including experience evaluating or implementing third\-party DLP tools (Nightfall AI, Strac, or equivalent).
  • Experience administering Marketing Cloud Connect (MCC) integrations with Sales Cloud, including subscriber key strategy, data extension synchronization, and send logging configuration.
  • Strong understanding of email deliverability operations: IP warming procedures, sender authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), inbox placement monitoring, and ISP reputation management.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships for SaaS tools integrated with Salesforce, including contract oversight, escalation management, and integration health monitoring.
  • Salesforce certifications required: Advanced Administrator, Marketing Cloud Administrator. Preferred: Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Data Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Shield Specialist.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of administrators, establishing governance standards and configuration best practices across a multi\-cloud Salesforce org.
  • Experience with Agentforce, Einstein AI features, or equivalent AI/ML platform administration within Salesforce, including prompt template management and Trust Layer configuration.
  • Familiarity with MuleSoft monitoring and alerting for marketing data ingestion pipelines.
  • LTL freight, logistics, or B2B industrial marketing technology experience.
  • Experience supporting corporate separations, rebrands, or email domain migrations in SFMC.
  • Background in SIEM integration (Splunk, Sentinel, or equivalent) for Salesforce Event Monitoring data.
  • Experience with Copado or equivalent Salesforce\-native CI/CD tooling for release management.

    This compensation range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting pay range in NJ. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay is determined by experience relative to the job, market level, specific location and other job\-related factors permitted by law. Regular full \& part\-time employees (who complete 91 days of employment and work a minimum average of 12 hours per week) are eligible to enroll in medical, dental, and/or vision coverage, tuition reimbursement. Full/part\-time employees who are age 21 are eligible for 401(k) after one month of employment.
