Position Summary:
The Account Assistant plays a key supporting role within our Business Development department, partnering closely with the National Account Manager to help manage and grow the K\-12 market. This position is ideal for an early\-career professional seeking to develop a career in business development and account management while learning from an experienced mentor. The Account Assistant will contribute to territory success through territory research, lead qualification, customer outreach, proposal preparation, and coordination of outreach activities.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the assigned K\-12 National Account Manager to execute the territory growth strategy, including account research, managing pipelines, tracking opportunities, and assisting with client follow\-up.
- Research, qualify, and nurture inbound and outbound leads, ensuring accurate and timely data entry in assigned systems.
- Support the assigned K\-12 National Account Manager in maintaining relationships with clients, preparing meeting materials, and following up on action items.
- Assist with preparing proposals, quotes, and contracts; coordinate scheduling and customer presentations.
- Monitor and research industry trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to support territory planning and strategy development.
- Help track performance metrics, prepare reports, and contribute to regular territory review meetings.

- Experience in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field.
- Comfortable using CRM systems.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office Workspace tools.
- Self\-motivated with the ability to work independently and think strategically.
- Desire to learn business development processes, relationship management, and territory development strategies.
- This position is a remote position which primarily requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, etc.
- This position requires reliable internet access and virtual collaboration tools.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will spend a significant amount of time sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Prolonged use of the computer and keyboard is expected. Walking and standing is also common for this role, especially for collaborating with colleagues, clients, or coordinating program events.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds.
