Ensures all administrative, accounting, certain service user related, and purchasing functions are handled in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner and is in accordance with company policies and procedures. Assists the Team Lead in the analysis of the Team's performance, through the development, processing, and tracking of performance reports and tracking spreadsheets. Works closely with the Team Lead. Provides Benefits Counseling information to individuals receiving services from the IPS\-SE (Individual Placement Services\-Supported Employment) Team.Pay: $17\.00 to $20\.00 depending on education and experience

Schedule: M\-F 8am to 5pm with some flexibility

Job Responsibilities

  • Complete Work Incentives Practitioner Training
  • Meet with individuals served by the IPS Team in the office, their home and community
  • Provide information about and referrals to programs that support work;
  • Gather information from the individual and verify their public benefits such as SSDI/SSI/Food and Nutrition and housing subsidies
  • Provide individualized advisement, including a Benefits Summary \& Analysis (BS\&A) report
  • Provide proactive ongoing work\-related benefits support.
  • Assist with Data Entry and Record Management
  • Document release and disclosure on Accounting of Release and Disclosure form. Generate and review reports as needed.
  • Complete data entry of individual served information (e.g., admissions, discharges, medical record updates, data entry, job status, etc.), Ensure billing protocols are followed per required timeframes.
  • Complete and maintain records and authorization of services in the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and/or MCO medical record.
  • Provide caseload and authorization management reports
  • Assist with Customer Service Responsibilities\- Answers telephones, greets, and assists customers (individual served, providers, vendors, co\-workers), Demonstrates appropriate phone etiquette, assesses information given and responds with proper information regarding agency and services, takes and forwards messages as needed.

  • Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate's Degree Preferred
  • Two years of medical office experience preferred
  • Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office including Excel, Teams, and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Pre\-employment screening:

  • Complete criminal background
  • Name checked in the registries. (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities)
  • Drug testing
  • Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
  • Proof of employment history or references (if required)
  • Positions that require driving Proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle, IF required for providing transportation for individuals.
