We are seeking a detail\-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our remote team and provide elite support for our clinical and business operations.
Role Overview
This is a 100% remote position reporting to our Valley office. As an Administrative Assistant, you will handle the essential "behind\-the\-scenes" functions that keep our clinic running smoothly. You will be responsible for complex data management, coordinating provider schedules, and assisting with medical billing and insurance workflows. This role requires a high degree of autonomy, technical proficiency, and an unwavering commitment to patient privacy.
Key Responsibilities
* EHR Management: Maintain and update patient records within our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system with 100% accuracy.
* Medical Billing Support: Assist the billing department with claim entries, payment posting, and insurance follow\-ups.
* Credentialing \& Documentation: Help manage provider credentialing files and ensure all clinical documentation meets regulatory standards.
* Coordination: Manage administrative calendars, coordinate virtual staff meetings, and assist with internal clinic communications.
* Compliance Oversight: Strictly adhere to all HIPAA regulations, ensuring that all digital files and communications remain secure and confidential.
Qualifications
* Experience: 2–4 years of administrative experience, preferably in a medical or clinical setting.
* Technical Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace. Previous experience with medical billing software or EHR platforms (e.g., Athena, eClinicalWorks) is highly preferred.
* Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills. You must be able to draft professional correspondence for both internal teams and external partners.
* Logistics: Must have a dedicated, secure home office and high\-speed internet.
* Time Zone: Ability to work a full\-time schedule aligned with Central Time (CST).
