Position Overview
We are seeking a Marketing \& Community Engagement Assistant who will play a key role in client engagement, relationship building, and community\-based business development in South Florida. This is a people\-facing role. You must be comfortable getting out into the community, meeting people, building trust, and representing the firm at a high level.
Core Responsibilities
Client \& Referral Relationship Development (Critical)
- Visit and maintain relationships with:
- Develop new referral relationships with:
- Medical providers
- Attorneys in other practice areas
- Local professionals and business owners
- Make introductions and set up meetings between the firm and potential referral sources
- Assist in building a consistent referral pipeline through ongoing relationship management
- Represent the firm in a professional, responsible, and ethical manner when developing and maintaining client and referral relationships
- Conduct cold outreach, including:
- Professional cold calling
- In\-person “drop\-ins” to local businesses and offices
- Initiate, develop, and foster new relationships from the ground up
- Re\-engage and renew dormant or underutilized relationships
- Identify new opportunities for visibility and collaboration in the community
- Plan, organize, and execute community events and outreach initiatives
- Attend local events, fairs, and networking opportunities with our team
- Represent the firm in a professional, engaging, and approachable manner
- Build relationships with:
- Community leaders
- Local businesses
- Organizations and nonprofits
- Identify and coordinate philanthropic and sponsorship opportunities
- Promote the firm at events and within the community
- Assist in developing and distributing:
- Branded promotional materials
- Giveaways and swag
- Help plan and execute campaigns that increase visibility and engagement
- Assist in creating and posting content for:
- Capture content from:
- Client visits
- Community events
- Outreach efforts
- Help promote partnerships, events, and firm initiatives
- Assist in developing:
- Firm\-branded merchandise
- Promotional products and swag
- Contribute creative ideas to enhance community engagement and brand recognition
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, and outreach efforts
- Track referral relationships and follow\-ups
- Assist with planning and execution of marketing initiatives
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual a plus but not required
- Outgoing, personable, and confident in face\-to\-face interactions
- Comfortable with cold outreach (calls and in\-person visits)
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Highly organized and detail\-oriented
- Self\-motivated with the ability to take initiative
- Experience in marketing, events, public relations, or business development
- Experience in client\-facing or relationship\-based roles
- Familiarity with social media platforms
