Senior Financial Planning Associate

We work closely with individuals, families, and business owners to provide thoughtful financial guidance and a high level of service.
As we continue to grow, we’re looking to add an experienced Financial Planning Associate who can play a key role in both client service and financial planning.
Position Summary
This is a key role within our firm that bridges financial planning, client service, and internal operations.
You’ll work closely with the advisor to prepare and deliver financial plans, support client relationships, and help ensure a high\-quality, consistent client experience.
This is not an entry\-level position—we are looking for someone with prior experience in financial services who can contribute immediately and grow with the firm.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning \& Analysis
- Gather and organize client financial data
- Build and update financial plans (retirement, tax, insurance, etc.)
- Prepare meeting materials and planning reports
- Run projections and scenario analyses
- Identify planning opportunities and potential issues
- Participate in client meetings (prep, attend, follow\-up)
- Serve as a point of contact for client questions and requests
- Help maintain strong, long\-term client relationships
- Ensure timely follow\-up and execution of planning recommendations
- Assist with portfolio reviews and rebalancing
- Prepare investment summaries and reports
- Coordinate with custodians and third\-party managers
- Maintain accurate client and account data
- Support CRM management and data accuracy
- Track tasks, workflows, and client action items
- Assist with onboarding and account maintenance processes
- Help improve internal systems and efficiency
- Assist with client communications (newsletters, updates)
- Help coordinate client events or outreach initiatives
- Support ongoing efforts to improve client experience
- 5\+ years of experience in financial services (RIA, BD, or similar)
- Strong understanding of financial planning concepts
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills (client\-facing ability is key)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast\-paced environment
- Progress toward or completion of CFP® designation
- FINRA licenses (Series 7/63/65\) or willingness to obtain
- Experience with financial planning software (e.g., RightCapital)
- Familiarity with custodial platforms (NFS, etc.)
- Someone who takes ownership and is proactive
- Strong team player who enjoys working closely with clients
- Detail\-oriented but able to see the bigger picture
