If this summary generally defines your gifts, we are hiring an Administrative Assistant for the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences at Ponce Health Sciences University in St. Louis, MO.
This position provides office support, event, and calendar management to the Director of the PsyD program and assists faculty and staff within the department. Candidates should possess excellent customer service skills, a strong understanding of computer\-based applications, and clerical ability to perform outreach, data entry, and document creation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides administrative support to management
- Work within deadlines and time constraints
- Acts as the primary point of contact for department guests; greets visitors
- Answers, screens, and forwards incoming department phone calls
- Disseminates information to current student, prospective students, faculty, alumni, communities of interest and others as needed
- Participates in orientation and student events
- Compiles and creates agendas and documents in preparation for department committees
- Assists faculty with clerical projects
- Provides document preparation, scanning, imaging, and indexing; performs quality assurance of digital and physical documents for electronic storage
- Other duties or special assignments/projects for the department as needed
- Minimum of an associate’s degree and one year’s experience in administrative support. Bachelor’s degree or higher in office administration preferred.
- Certifications in administrative proficiencies appreciated.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Previous experience in project management software a plus.
