The Business Development Associate will report directly to the Technical Sales \& Account Manager and is the "engine" of the sales pod. This role focuses on top\-of\-funnel growth, CRM data integrity, and administrative execution to ensure the sales cycle moves as fast as possible.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

* High\-Touch Prospecting: Identify and engage new leads using high Emotional Quotient (EQ) to build rapport and qualify potential opportunities.

* Sales Support \& Logistics: Manage the "Urgent, Not Important" daily tasks including Sample Management, Service Order (SVO) coordination, and prompt follow\-up emails.

* Data Stewardship: Act as the primary owner of the CRM (Odoo) and Project Management software, ensuring all data entry is real\-time, accurate, and organized.

* RFQ Entry: Handle the initial intake and entry of Requests for Quotation, ensuring all baseline information is collected for the TSAM’s review.

  • Workflow Assistance: Provide general support to the TSAM to remove friction from the sales process, including coordinating meetings and managing administrative logistics.
  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 1\-3 years of experience of administrative, sales, customer service, or other closely related experience preferred.
  • QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and excellent verbal/written communication.
  • Strong organizational skills with a "no task too small" mentality.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Odoo preferred) and project management software.
  • WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • This position works within the manufacturing plant for product training and communicating with other departments.
