Job Title: Battery Technician/Scooter Mover
Job Description: We are seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our team as an independent contractor for the position of Battery Technician and Scooter/Bike Mover. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently changing batteries in electric scooters and bikes, as well as relocating them as needed. This position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Battery Maintenance: Perform routine battery swaps and replacements in electric scooters and bikes. Ensure all batteries are charged and operational before deployment.
Quality Assurance: Conduct basic inspections to ensure scooters/bikes are in good working condition. Report any issues or defects promptly to the appropriate channels.
Data Reporting: Maintain accurate records of battery changes, mileage, and other relevant data. Utilize mobile applications or software systems for logging work activities.
Scooter/Bike Moving: Transport scooters/bikes to designated locations based on operational needs. Follow routing instructions and safety protocols during transport.
Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers and respond to inquiries or concerns courteously. Provide basic assistance or guidance to users regarding scooter/bike functionalities.
Requirements: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 70 pounds. Basic knowledge of electric scooters/bikes or willingness to learn. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable transportation to and from work locations. Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends. Must be a SELF motivated individual! Independent contractor status. Cargo van or truck preferred.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a similar role or familiarity with battery\-operated devices. Proficiency in using smartphone apps for navigation and data entry.
