  • Audiology:

    The summer hire will perform a variety of tasks in support of programs in the department. The primary responsibilities of the position are to support the Audiology team, while assisting with administrative tasks, running errands, data entry, and providing general support as needed.

    Responsibilities:

  • While on duty make regular tours of the facility, building, and equipment to ensure proper operations, keep required records and readings, makes required manual adjustments and/or minor repairs, and performs preventative maintenance tasks are assigned.
  • Responds to requests from facility and living units concerning problems that may require immediate maintenance attention. Performs necessary repairs when resources are at hand and requests supervisory assistance on those tasks too large or difficult for immediate solution.   • Providing timely, and accurate assistance in all matters of environmental health to remote villages.

This role is designed for a motivated high school student who is curious about how organizations analyze data, solve problems, and implement meaningful change. The student will gain hands on experience with real projects, learn foundational skills in process improvement, and collaborate with staff across multiple departments.

  • Age Requirement: Must 18 or older SRC – St. Mary’s:

    The summer hire will perform a variety of tasks in support of all SRC patient\-facing employees. The position is geared towards someone who has a keen interest in becoming a healthcare professional. The primary responsibilities of the position will be to ensure cleanliness in the exam room, stock needed items and sanitize equipment and tools per the guidance and direction of the healthcare professional and standard protocols. The position will also provide opportunities to job shadow at the discretion and approval of the DHAT/nurse/provider.

    Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to patient\-facing employees
  • Organize, maintain and sanitize exam rooms or common areas
  • Ensure masks, sanitizers and other PPE items are stocked and current
  • Check and remove all expired items.
  • Assist providers, nurse, DHATs with errands and delivery of needed items.
  • Shadow health professionals when schedules permit
  • Have a one\-on\-one session with professional to review and/or answer questions that emerge from shadowing opportunities
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure work flow.
  • Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
