Entry-Level Computer Repair Technician (Part-Time)

Hi\-Tek Solutions is looking for an entry level Computer Repair Technician who is serious about building a long term career in technology. This is a great opportunity for someone who already has hands on experience and wants to continue learning, growing, and developing real world skills in a professional repair shop environment.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys technology, likes solving problems, works well with people, and wants to gain deeper experience in computer repair and IT services.

We are looking for someone with at least 1 year of experience repairing both Windows and Apple devices. Networking knowledge is a plus and will be given priority, but it is not required.

This is not a remote position. All work will be performed in\-house at our location.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Perform diagnostics on desktops, laptops, and Apple/Mac devices
• Handle basic computer repairs and troubleshooting
• Assist with repair intake and device check\-out process
• Help clients when dropping off and picking up their devices
• Enter service notes and customer information accurately
• Provide clients with repair updates using Outlook
• Answer phone calls
• Support general shop workflow and day to day operations
• Help maintain a clean and organized work area

Minimum Requirements:

• At least
1 year of hands on experience repairing both Windows and Apple computers
• Basic understanding of computer hardware and software troubleshooting
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow process
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable with data entry and writing professional email updates
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

Preferred but Not Required:

• Basic networking knowledge
• Experience working in a repair shop or similar tech environment
• Familiarity with Outlook and general office software
