Quality Distribution, LLC., a leading Third\-Party Warehouse and Distribution Company based in Utah, is currently seeking a full\-time Bilingual Assistant Warehouse Manager (English and Spanish) to join our warehouse operations team. Position Summary:
Frontline leadership responsibility. Has the responsibility to assist in managing day\-to\-day operations of a specific warehouse. Assists Warehouse Manager in planning, training, and maintaining the warehouse. This position requires a work schedule of M \- F 8:00 am \- 4:30 pm shift. Fluency in both English and Spanish required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists Warehouse Manager in all day\-to\-day duties such as order assignment, process management, driver check\-in, and other general administrative tasks.
- Ensures processes and procedures are compliant with the company and legal guidelines.
- Assists in managing daily inbound/outbound schedules and managing the check\-in window.
- Maintains financial responsibility by assisting to manage warehouse costs of materials and costs of errors.
- Inspect and maintain equipment. Assist warehouse manager in training and documenting preventative maintenance measures.
- Communicate closely with Account Managers and other key players to coordinate timely and accurate shipments.
- Encourages teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met. May be given responsibility to manage smaller projects such as labeling, reworks, etc.
- Maintain a safe work environment through adherence to and training employees to follow company processes and procedures.
- Become proficient in using software such as Extensiv and MS Office
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory control, as needed.
- Loading/unloading vans and freight trucks with the forklift, as needed.
- Responsible for assisting to maintain building security and safety by following safety and security procedures.
- Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing placement of inventory.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1\-3 years of Warehouse or Inventory Experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven success as a warehouse team member and have a desire to develop and learn.
- Experience working on computers or leading a team.
- Must be able to communicate fluently in English and Spanish.
- Excellent data entry and data processing skills.
- Proficient in schedule and report creation.
- Skilled in analyzing information.
- Ability to multitask on a team and alone.
- Ability to manage processes successfully.
- Ability to think strategically and solve problems.
- Ability to train and lead others in an influential, respectful, and ethical way.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
The Assistant Warehouse Manager is responsible for assisting in the management of warehouse team members. The Assistant Warehouse Manager will be required to work cross\-functionally with other managers while coordinating shipments, inbounds, and inventories.

This job requires routine manual tasks involving dexterity, sitting, standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Occasionally, lifting objects up to 50 pounds may be necessary. Specific vision abilities such as close vision and adjusting focus are needed.
Work Environment:
Employees may encounter cold temperatures and moderate to loud noise levels depending on the office or warehouse setting.
Reports to: Warehouse Manager
Working Hours: Full\-time, Monday\-Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
