To deliver on the Risk Products \& Data Strategy (RPDS) vision, we operate at the intersection of business and technology to build software products and capabilities that advance Credit and Fraud Risk at American Express. We partner closely with risk leaders and engineering teams to translate outcomes into clear priorities, align across dependencies, and drive execution at scale—solving complex problems that matter to our customers and the business. The Executive Administrative Assistant plays a critical role in enabling this work by providing high\-impact administrative and organizational support to leadership and helping to foster a positive, well\-run team environment.
This role is a key member of the RPDS Product Development organization , supporting the day\-to\-day operational effectiveness of the leadership team. The successful candidate will be a highly proactive professional with exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills who thrives in a dynamic, fast\-paced environment.
- Organize and maintain complex calendars for Vice Presidents using a high level of tact, prioritization, influencing skills, and integrity, including scheduling across multiple time zones
- Coordinating and leading all aspects of internal meetings, including reserving space, audio and visual setup, catering, and production of meeting materials when applicable
- Planning and hosting of VP site visits/team events, including travel arrangements, conference room reservations, catering/restaurant reservations, and team building activities
- Prepare, reconcile, and process expense reports and invoices in line with company requirements using Concur, and review direct report expenses routed for VP approval
- Maintaining organizational charts, and department distribution lists
- Handling travel arrangements including air, hotel, transfers, and agendas
- Supporting department finances and report requests
- Partner closely with other Executive Assistants and the Chief of Staff team to ensure coordination, share updates, and support broader team processes
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills to build and maintain high\-impact relationships across all areas of the organization
- Desire to understand the goals of the team and the relative importance of various partners and what they do
- Strong work ethic, highly self\-motivated, and understands the need to be a teammate
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure and be flexible when faced with changing/conflicting priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Concur, and other administrative platforms
