We are seeking a Full\-Time Legal Assistant for our growing team! As a Legal Assistant, you will assist the Litigation Team with document processing and litigation services. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast\-paced environment and has a passion for delivering excellent customer service. Prior experience working in a law firm is valued but not strictly necessary.
Key Responsibilities
The assistant’s role will include the following primary duties:
- Receive, review, and distribute incoming mail, and upload and index documents within the firm’s information management system.
- Prepare, process, and transmit outgoing mail and correspondence.
- Coordinate and oversee the firm’s service of legal process.
- Prepare and assemble routine legal correspondence using approved firm templates.
- Basic knowledge of legal procedures and terminology preferred
- Prior administrative or legal assistant experience is beneficial
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and attorneys
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to quickly learn new software systems
- Highly motivated self\-starter with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong work ethic with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Clerical Law office: 1 year (Preferred)
