- Manages end\-to\-end payroll processing, ensuring employees are paid accurately, on time, and in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations
- Oversees payroll\-related data integrity, reconciliations, and coordination with Finance to support tax filings, reporting, and audit readiness
- Administers employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and open enrollment activities
- Serves as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and maintains strong relationships with brokers, carriers, and benefits vendors
- Monitors benefits administration processes and recommends enhancements that improve employee experience, efficiency, and compliance
- Leads full\-cycle recruiting efforts, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer management
- Partners with hiring managers to understand talent needs, align on role requirements, and execute effective sourcing and selection strategies
- Supports the organization’s evolving talent needs by helping attract and onboard high\-impact talent across business, technology, and operational functions
- Maintains and executes a comprehensive onboarding experience that ensures new hires are set up for success from day one
- Coordinates orientation logistics, systems access, documentation, and first\-week employee experience to create a seamless and engaging onboarding process
- Maintains accurate and confidential employee records across HRIS and related systems
- Responds to employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, onboarding, and People Operations with professionalism, discretion, and a high level of service
- Supports the delivery of a digital\-first, remote\-enabled employee experience that is intuitive, consistent, and scalable across locations and teams
- Helps ensure People processes reinforce a culture rooted in trust, leadership, collaboration, and accountability
- Contributes to the design of employee experiences that are efficient, transparent, and aligned with organizational values and growth objectives
- Ensures compliance with employment laws and regulations related to payroll, benefits, recruiting, and onboarding practices
- Generates and maintains reports related to payroll, benefits utilization, recruiting activity, onboarding metrics, and People Operations performance
- Supports internal audits, documentation requirements, and process controls to ensure operational accuracy and risk mitigation
- Identifies opportunities to improve workflows, reduce administrative friction, and increase consistency across People Operations processes
- Evaluates and recommends tools, systems, and vendor solutions that support scalability, automation, and operational excellence
- Supports the implementation of scalable, enterprise\-wide talent systems that improve consistency and effectiveness across hiring, onboarding, and employee support
- Contributes to the modernization of People Operations by helping integrate digital tools, automation, and process improvements that create capacity for more strategic work
- Partners with HR leadership to strengthen foundational People systems that enable organizational growth, change readiness, and business transformation
- Supports initiatives that reinforce leadership development, culture, employee experience, and organizational effectiveness
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned in support of the People team and broader business priorities
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum five (5\) years of progressive experience in Human Resources, People Operations, or a related HR generalist/operations role
- Has direct experience managing payroll, benefits administration, recruiting coordination, full\-cycle recruiting, and employee onboarding
- Possesses working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment regulations related to payroll, benefits, and hiring practices
- Demonstrates strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities with accuracy and follow\-through
- Exhibits strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization
- Has experience working with HRIS platforms, payroll systems, applicant tracking systems, and benefits administration tools
- Demonstrates sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive employee and organizational information
- Brings a service\-oriented mindset and a proactive, solutions\-focused approach to People Operations
- Experience supporting multi\-state payroll and benefits administration
- Familiarity with HR process automation, digital workflow tools, and systems implementation or optimization
- Experience working in a fast\-paced, growth\-oriented, or transformation\-focused organization
- Exposure to organizational development, talent planning, or employee experience initiatives
