About the Role

At Frog’s Leap, hospitality is about real connection—warm welcomes, genuine conversations, and making people feel at home. As a Seasonal Part Time Tasting Room Associate, you’ll be an essential part of a tightly knit team of brand ambassadors, warmly welcoming guests, sharing our stories, reflecting our sustainable values, and creating memorable experiences.

You’ll lead engaging, casual seated tastings in the garden and conduct walking tours that begin and end on the back porch of our Vineyard House; guiding visitors through discovery experiences that are rooted in our belief that wine — when responsibly farmed and sustainably produced, is a wonderful part of a joyful life.

In this role, you’ll share our stories and our wines in your own voice, taking pride in helping every guest, from first\-time walk\-ins to longtime Frog Fellows, enjoy a memorable visit. As a key member of the team tasked with balancing education and sales, you’ll be asked to lean into our core values, balancing responsibility and generosity, and cultivating genuine hospitality where all are welcomed and respected. You’ll show up as yourself in a culture that values curiosity and accountability in equal measure, always aiming to find joy in what we do, where we do it and the people we do it with.

This position is a great fit for someone who finds meaning in the small details that make a great visit — if you want to be part of a sustainable, family business with a strong culture of shared purpose, then this job might be for you.

What You’ll Cultivate:

*Guest Services \& Hospitality*

  • Greet visitors warmly, creating an inviting atmosphere for memorable tasting experiences.
  • Conduct engaging tours and wine tastings in the Garden and throughout the winery environs that highlight our wines, and the Williams family’s unique story and winemaking philosophies for guests.
  • Deliver authentic, personable presentations that foster genuine connections to Frog’s Leap.
  • Maintain a service\-first, consultative approach to sharing wines, non\-wine products, and Fellowship opportunities, emphasizing connection over pressure to purchase.
  • Support Fellowship sales and experiences, recognizing members, expressing appreciation, and deepening their connection with each visit.
  • *Tasting Room Operations*

  • Execute opening and closing duties, set up and break down various tasting experiences including clearing service wares, washing and polishing glass and tidying spaces.
  • Process routine purchase transactions and operate the POS system with accuracy, ensuring proper data entry and correct completion of transactions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all guest\-facing areas throughout the day.
  • Effectively stock wine and merchandise, utilizing carts and equipment to assist in safe and efficient inventory movement and restocking.
  • Assist with reservation management and coordination of guest visits to ensure smooth, well\-orchestrated experiences.
  • *Sales \& Fellowship Support*

  • Support direct\-to\-consumer and Fellowship sales operations, processing orders accurately and efficiently, always maintaining brand standards.
  • Assist with Fellowship fulfillment, and support experiences, and special events that elevate connection, appreciation, and loyalty with our most valued customers.
  • *Team Collaboration*

  • Work collaboratively with the entire revenue team to deliver cohesive, grounded guest experiences always reflective of Frog’s Leap’s values.
  • Participate in team meetings, tastings, trainings and staff gatherings to deepen your understanding of our farming practices, cellar work, and wines, and share that knowledge with guests in your own authentic voice.
  • Who You Are:

    * You bring 1–2\+ years of customer service or hospitality experience. Bonus points if you’ve worked in a winery tasting room in a service and sales capacity!

    * You’re a natural storyteller and attentive listener, able to turn information about our vineyards, soil and winemaking practices into conversations that feel human and engaging.

    * Have a genuine enthusiasm for wine and for sharing the story of Frog’s Leap, with a growing base of knowledge about farming, wine and winemaking techniques (authentic curiosity and a genuine desire to learn is a wonderful asset in this role). You don’t need all the answers, but you need to be willing to ask questions.

    * You understand and practice a culture of warm, gracious customer service. You have excellent verbal communication skills and feel natural speaking with guests both one\-on\-one and in small group settings.

    * You’re dependable and organized, able to balance hosting, sales, and operational tasks without losing your calm or your sense of humor, especially on busy days. You’re ready to pivot gracefully when the unexpected pops up, with adaptability, a positive attitude, and solutions\-focused, team oriented thinking.

    * You are Tech\-Savy. Proficiency with Commerce7 (C7\) or similar CRM/ reservation platforms including POS systems, as well as Microsoft Outlook and Teams is a real advantage here. Training will be provided, but there’s no way around some level of technological proficiency in this role.
