The Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the full\-cycle accounts payable function, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timeliness of all vendor payments. This role plays a critical part in maintaining strong vendor relationships, supporting project financial controls and ensuring adherence to construction\-specific compliance requirements.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee the processing of all vendor invoices, including data entry, coding, scanning and timely payment execution
  • Track and monitor lien waivers and releases to ensure compliance with project and legal requirements. Assemble lien waiver documentation for client billing.
  • Track payments and retainage against vendor subcontracts
  • Investigate and resolve accounts payable discrepancies and vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain strict controls over vendor setup, ensuring compliance with W\-9 documentation, insurance certificates and licensing requirements
  • Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness for all accounts payable transactions
  • Prepare and process annual 1099 filings in accordance with IRS regulations
  • Support the annual external audit, including preparation of documentation
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and continuous improvement of accounts payable policies and procedures
  • Assist with accounting and finance initiatives, special projects and process improvements as assigned
  • Must maintain strict confidentiality of company information, including project files, financial data and other sensitive materials
  • What You’ll Bring

    * Experience: 3\+ years in accounts payable, preferably in a construction environment.

    * Technical Skills: Experience with Sage Intacct and Titanium is preferred, not required. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 including Excel, Outlook, Teams

    * Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication abilities.

    * Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast\-paced environment and quickly switch contexts between different job duties.

    * Customer Service: Demonstrates a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service to colleagues, clients and vendors, fostering strong and professional working relationships
