Overview

We are seeking a fun\-outgoing and detail\-oriented Office Assistant/Billing professional to join our team! This role is vital in ensuring smooth office operations, accurate billing processes, and exceptional customer support. As an Office Assistant/Billing professional, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and clients, manage administrative tasks efficiently, and handle billing with precision. Your energetic approach and organizational skills will help create a welcoming environment while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and professionalism. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your office management expertise in a fast\-paced setting.

Duties

  • Greet visitors and manage front desk responsibilities with friendly professionalism, including answering multi\-line phone systems and directing calls with excellent phone etiquette
  • Perform data entry, scheduling and billing tasks using MCO sites to ensure accurate invoicing and record\-keeping
  • Manage calendar appointments, schedule meetings, and coordinate office events with strong organizational skills
  • Handle clerical duties such as filing, proofreading documents, and maintaining organized office records
  • Provide exceptional customer service by supporting clients and staff via phone, email, or in person, ensuring their needs are addressed promptly
  • Assist with office management tasks including supply inventory, mail distribution, and general administrative support
  • Assisting with the Adult Day Program as needed.
  • Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an office environment with strong clerical and administrative skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience in customer support roles with a focus on professional phone etiquette and client/staff relations
  • Knowledge of multi\-line phone systems (2 lines) and front desk operations is highly desirable
  • Previous experience as a medical or dental receptionist or personal assistant is advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently while maintaining attention to detail during data entry and proofreading tasks
  • * Live within 30 miles of the office location

  • Be reliable and available on day(s) school is closed due to weather or other school breaks. (not saying you can't take a vacation!)

    Hours:

    This job offers a Monday through Friday work week. NO weekends! Hours are from 745am to 245pm for a total of 35hrs a week.

    Pay: From $17\.24 per hour
