#### Join our Human Resources Office
The Human Resources Office (HRO) is seeking a detail‑oriented and highly organized professional to provide essential administrative and operational support to the HRO team and the HRO Chief. This role is responsible for ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and efficient coordination across a wide range of functions, including budget management, payment processing, and oversight of key recognition programs such as the Award of Excellence and Years of Service. The position will also support compliance initiatives, serve as the primary HRO contact for public data requests, assist with HR events and activities, and deliver comprehensive administrative support to help advance the mission of the HRO.

This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will be required to come on\-site and work a portion of their time remotely (must live in Florida). - In coordination with the HRO Chief, manage, track, and report on the HRO/Risk budget
- Accurately enter data entry of financial transactions including requisitions, purchase orders, receivers, check requests, decentralized general accounting documents and purchasing card reconciliation
- Develop, route, and track contracts, amendments, invoices, and travel vouchers using financial software
- Oversee the Award of Excellence program and certificates
- Administer the Years of Service recognition program
- Serve as the primary HRO contact for public records requests
- Monitor compliance requirements such as employment posters and safety documentation
- Assist with HRO related events and activities

- High School Diploma or equivalent and four years' administrative work experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Associates degree and five years' administrative work experience OR High School Diploma and seven years' administrative work experience

- Experience with Advantage, Performance Budgeting, Business Objects and Case Management, or similar systems

Administrative Support Specialist 4 $38,082\.00 \- $43,320\.00
##### The starting hourly range is included for the Administrative Support Specialist profile which reflects the *minimum to 25% of the respective pay grade*. The starting salary will be based on the education and experience of the successful candidate. The District conducts annual performance evaluations that may award applicable pay increases based on positive employee performance.

Employee works in a standard office environment. Occasional travel usually during the workday may be required. Performs continuous repetitive tasks (to include keyboarding) with one or both hands. Occasionally lifts and carries objects up to 10 pounds. Occasionally requires bending and reaching above shoulder level. #### Additional Details
This position is typically scheduled to work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, out of the Brooksville, FL office, however some remote work may be available after 3 months of employment. This position is eligible for overtime pay for hours worked over 40 hours, in a week.

Minimal travel, using District vehicle, within District's coverage area.
