Life IV Weight Loss is a rapidly growing medical weight management practice serving clients across Michigan and Ohio. We combine evidence\-based care, GLP\-1 and other weight loss medications, nutrition therapy, and supportive coaching to help clients achieve sustainable, long\-term results.
As our client base continues to expand, we are adding a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to provide virtual nutrition services as part of our integrated care team.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to join our team in a fully remote, 1099 contractor role with productivity\-based compensation (per session/encounter/RVU).
This role offers maximum flexibility—you will set your own schedule, manage your own patient panel, and conduct telehealth visits independently, while utilizing our established systems for documentation, billing, and patient referrals.

- Conduct virtual nutrition assessments and follow\-up visits
- Provide counseling for:
- Weight loss and behavior change
- GLP\-1 and weight loss medication support
- Sustainable lifestyle and dietary habits
- Develop individualized nutrition care plans
- Document all encounters in our cloud\-based EHR
- Maintain compliance with RD standards of care
- Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and clinical staff as needed
- Payment per completed patient session/encounter
- Rates vary based on visit type (cash\-pay vs. insurance)
- Active Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential (required)
- Active state licensure (Michigan required; Ohio preferred)
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Comfortable providing telehealth services independently
- Experience in weight management preferred (not required)
- CAQH profile (or willingness to complete)
- Must carry professional liability (malpractice) insurance
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Credential you with participating insurance plans
- Bill all services under our practice
- Handle all administrative and billing processes
