Responsibilities
- Oversee daily clinic operations, including medical and dental offices, ensuring compliance with HIPAA, JCAHO standards, and other regulatory requirements.
- Manage financial aspects such as budgeting, billing, coding accuracy, and utilization management using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic, eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft.
- Supervise administrative staff, nurses, medical assistants, and other team members to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Coordinate human resources activities including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper documentation in EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems while safeguarding patient confidentiality.
- Monitor clinic performance metrics, analyze financial reports, and implement process improvements to optimize practice management.
- Support medical administrative functions such as appointment scheduling, patient intake procedures, and insurance verifications within managed care frameworks.
- Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare administration with a strong background in clinic operations.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience leading multidisciplinary teams in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, Eaglesoft or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, medical records management, and billing practices.
- Strong fiscal management skills including budgeting and financial oversight for healthcare practices.
- Experience working in acute care hospitals or dental clinics is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
