How you’ll contribute
A Medical Receptionist who excels in this role:
- Provides front office support in a physician office.
- Answers telephone promptly and courteously, takes accurate and complete messages, forwards, or answers inquiries as appropriate. Schedules all patients according to policy and procedures.
- Collects, verifies, and performs insurance eligibility into the practice management system. Collects patient co\-payments.
- Previous healthcare experience is preferred.
