- Prepare monthly accounting transactions and reports.
- Responsible for closing contracts by making proper accounting adjustments and analyzing variance to budget.
- Support VP of Finance with analysis of significant trends within the organization.
- Publish recurring reports to help highlight areas of concern.
- Provide financial support and analysis to finance and operations leaders, playing a key role in achieving financial objectives and executing operations strategies.
- Prepare client invoices in compliance with the client’s contractual requirements.
- Assist with the annual budget process and the preparation of the bid model/pricing for new business.
- Provide training to operations teams on financial processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent required. CPA and/or MBA preferred.
- 6\+ years of experience in finance and or accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to learn additional systems quickly. Knowledge of Oracle/JD Edwards and Hyperion is highly preferred.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize based on company need.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, drive projects to completion and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and analytical skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness and ability to travel (approximately 10%).
- not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods time.
