- Lead a team of annuity product analysts responsible for the development of detailed plan designs and detailed product specification documents for all new products, product enhancements, and in\-force product support
- Build, file, and obtain regulatory approval for new products and enhancements to existing products for the US annuity market
- Oversight for regulatory, taxation, and compliance changes impacting products, IMOs, agents, and members
- Support new operational process/strategies prior to them becoming a project or an enhancement
- Bridge the product, process, and technology aspects of any product initiatives to ensure a seamless end\-result
- Subject\-matter expert on various non\-product initiatives (e.g. new admin, compensation, claims, agent/client portal, back office, and new business systems)
- Lead US annuity competitive research and intelligence

- Understanding of fixed and fixed\-indexed annuity products
- Understanding of annuity distribution characteristics and the sales process for annuities
- Strong aptitude for data analysis
- Exceptional problem\-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and constructively with a variety of business and IT stakeholders to influence and effect desired outcomes
Director, Annuity Product AnalysisPurpose of role
This role is accountable for in\-depth product analysis, recommendation, and implementation of a comprehensive suite of annuity products for the US market. As a product expert, this role will also provide leadership support to a team of product analysts on projects within scope and continue to support Foresters long\-term vision and goal.
This role will ensure product and contract rules are precisely documented, products are accurately built on our support systems, and ensuing processes are operationally\-sound for all product\-related initiatives including but not limited to new product initiatives, product enhancements, and in\-force product support, as well as oversight on the development, implementation, and management of annuity contract and rider forms.Job Description

Experience (minimum required)*: 10\+ years in progressive product development or management roles within the annuity industry

The actual base salary for this position will depend on several factors, including job\-related skills, experience, and education.
