HR Administrative Assistant

Location: 20853 Farmington Rd, Farmington Hills, MI 48336

Job Type: 30 hours/week In\-Office

Schedule: Monday\-Friday 9AM\-3PM

About the Role

Excellacare is seeking a highly organized, detail\-oriented HR Administrative Assistant to support hiring operations in a fast\-paced environment. This role is heavily focused on recruiting coordination and administrative support, including managing hiring workflows, answering phones, running background checks, and handling high\-volume data entry with a keen and detailed eye.

Because caregiving is a high\-demand, high\-turnover industry, our success depends on hiring quickly, accurately, and consistently.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast\-paced environment, can juggle multiple responsibilities at once, takes pride in accuracy and professionalism, and has a great attitude.

This job is in\-office only and supporting a team already in motion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support the hiring process from start to finish
  • Communicate with candidates and teammates via phone, text and email in a timely, professional manner
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls with excellent and professional customer service
  • Process and track background checks and pre\-employment requirements
  • Perform high\-volume, accurate data entry across internal systems
  • Maintain organized and up\-to\-date employee and candidate records
  • Assist with onboarding documentation and administrative HR tasks
  • Support team members with various operational and administrative needs
  • Qualifications

  • Previous administrative or HR support experience preferred
  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • * Extreme attention to detail—accuracy is critical in this role

    * Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Professional, positive attitude—

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and extremely comfortable on the computer
  • Comfortable working in a fast\-paced, high\-volume environment
