HR Administrative Assistant
Location: 20853 Farmington Rd, Farmington Hills, MI 48336
Job Type: 30 hours/week In\-Office
Schedule: Monday\-Friday 9AM\-3PM
About the Role
Excellacare is seeking a highly organized, detail\-oriented HR Administrative Assistant to support hiring operations in a fast\-paced environment. This role is heavily focused on recruiting coordination and administrative support, including managing hiring workflows, answering phones, running background checks, and handling high\-volume data entry with a keen and detailed eye.
Because caregiving is a high\-demand, high\-turnover industry, our success depends on hiring quickly, accurately, and consistently.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast\-paced environment, can juggle multiple responsibilities at once, takes pride in accuracy and professionalism, and has a great attitude.
This job is in\-office only and supporting a team already in motion.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support the hiring process from start to finish
- Communicate with candidates and teammates via phone, text and email in a timely, professional manner
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls with excellent and professional customer service
- Process and track background checks and pre\-employment requirements
- Perform high\-volume, accurate data entry across internal systems
- Maintain organized and up\-to\-date employee and candidate records
- Assist with onboarding documentation and administrative HR tasks
- Support team members with various operational and administrative needs
- Previous administrative or HR support experience preferred
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Professional, positive attitude— a great attitude is an absolute must
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and extremely comfortable on the computer
- Comfortable working in a fast\-paced, high\-volume environment
- Someone who doesn’t let details slip through the cracks
