Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and highly organized Part\-Time Personal Assistant to support a busy CEO and their family. This role is equal parts family support and executive logistics — you will be a trusted extension of the household and office, helping ensure daily life runs smoothly. The ideal candidate is discreet, resourceful, and comfortable juggling family needs alongside professional responsibilities.
Responsibilities
* Family \& Childcare Logistics
- Provide reliable daily school pickup for two children (ages 6 and 8\) from their school in the Leesburg area
- Supervise and engage children after school until parent arrives home; ensure a safe and positive environment
- Assist with transporting children to extracurricular activities, playdates, or appointments as needed
- Communicate proactively with the parent regarding schedule changes, child needs, or any incidents
- Occasionally prepare light snacks for children after school pickup
- Run business\-related errands including post office, courier drop\-offs, document pickup/delivery, and supply runs
- Coordinate and manage dry cleaning, printing, and office supply procurement
- Assist with vendor coordination and contractor scheduling on behalf of the CEO
- Prepare and organize materials for meetings, presentations, or travel
- Support light administrative tasks: filing, scanning, data entry, and expense tracking
- Handle personal shopping: groceries, gifts, household supplies, and specialty item sourcing
- Coordinate household service appointments (repairs, deliveries, maintenance) and be present when needed
- Assist with event planning and coordination for family occasions and gatherings
- Manage and organize household correspondence and mail as directed
- Help manage and update the CEO's personal calendar, flagging conflicts and reminders
- Coordinate scheduling for family appointments, travel arrangements, and reservations
- Make phone calls, confirmations, and follow\-ups on behalf of the CEO
- Draft correspondence, thank\-you notes, and RSVPs as requested
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable personal vehicle
- Background check and references required prior to start
- Prior experience in a personal assistant, family assistant, nanny, or executive support role strongly preferred
- Comfortable working with and supervising children ages 6 and 8
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- High degree of discretion and professionalism — confidentiality is essential
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with smartphone apps, Google Calendar, email, and basic digital tools
- Flexible and adaptable — able to handle shifting priorities with a positive attitude
- Trustworthy, punctual, and highly dependable
- Must be available for weekend babysitting (Saturdays and/or Sundays) — weekend availability is a firm requirement of this position
