Services include primary medical care, sick visits, immunizations, physical examinations and well visits, preventive medicine and screenings, treatment of acute and chronic conditions, and women’s health.

The Data Collection Coordinator is a Full\-time, Benefits\-eligible Temporary position with an anticipated duration of approximately six (6\)months, projected to conclude latest by October.

The Data Collection Coordinator II maintains and prepare electronic medical records ensuring medical records contents are available, incorporated, and prepared for utilization for primary care physician practices. *The ideal candidate demonstrates strong computer proficiency, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills, along with a solid working knowledge of Excel and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.*

Work Schedule:

  • Mondays to Fridays: Day Shift
  • No weekends or holidays
  • Hybrid schedule with remote options available
  • Flexibility with daytime hours and hybrid schedule, this is ad hoc per department needs.

    Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Manage \& coordinate the medical records retrieval, data abstraction, and upkeep for newly hired primary care physicians from recent acquisition.
  • Review provider schedules and prepare batch data files for all select group of providers, transmit to vendor weekly
  • Extract returned records from medical record repository (email, secure server, etc)
  • Review existing medical record and pull in Problems, Medications, Immunizations, as per provider's protocol.
  • Search \& extract record content from data set and enter into medical record as appropriate, can include manual entry, print \& scan, etc. Medical Record content may include Problems, Allergies, Medications, Immunizations, Labs, recent imaging, last 1\-2 office notes.
  • Use AI supportive technologies and following standard AI prompting protocols to search, summarize, and extract content into chart.
  • Responsible to have Physician schedules checked daily to prepare for office visits. Target to have charts prepped and available 3 days in advance of scheduled visit.
  • Retrieve medical records from various sources ensure electronic health records chart is complete to support patient visits and care, DHIN, HSX, Labcorp, Quest, etc.
  • Utilize electronic EMR system to review orders, scan records and format correctly into patient chart.
  • Prepares medical records according to department policies verifying correct patient identification on each document scanned following department guidelines for scanning records to ensure the chart is accurate and complete
  • Performs other related duties as required.
  • Position Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1\-2 years of experience in data entry or document processing required.
  • 2 years of experience in medical office setting required.
  • Prior management of medical records and familiarity with data points outlined within the duties and responsibilities.

Hourly Pay Range: $19\.84 \- $29\.76

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
