*WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR*:
The Logistics Administrator will be responsible for small parcels, freight logistics activities and administrative support. This candidate will report to the Logistic Transportation Supervisor. The ideal candidate should have a background in domestic, inbound and outbound logistics and will work closely with representatives from Account Management, Warehouse and interdepartmental teams.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assorting and organizing shipping labels and packing slips
- Input logistics data including freight charges and tracking numbers
- Check and verify shipping labels as well as tracking numbers and verify against packing slips
- Audit shipping labels
- Maintain data accuracy on shipping documents
- Report any shipments that require carrier attention or additional follow\-up
- Arrange BOLs and pick up tags with trucking companies
- Provide Warehouse with shipping documents on a daily basis.
- Handle questions or concerns from warehouse or account management
- Responds to internal and external inquiries concerning shipments
- Work with Logistics Supervisor to improve process

Education/and or Related Experience:
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
· 2\-3 years of administrative experience preferably in a logistics and/or transportation environment
· Ability to process a large number of details in shipping documents while providing excellent customer service.
· Ability to effectively present information to other employees within the organization.
· Ability to resolve issues skillfully, appropriately and in a timely manner;
· Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
