We are a San Diego\-based company seeking a motivated and detail\-oriented Software Developer to join our team in Illinois.

In this role, you will work on maintaining and enhancing complex application systems based on detailed technical specifications. You will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and ongoing maintenance.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, takes ownership of their work, and brings strong problem\-solving skills along with a high level of technical proficiency.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of secure software development principles
• Experience with object\-oriented programming and software development best practices
• Proven experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications
• Experience with data processing and analysis, including writing custom code or using existing tools to evaluate data quality and system performance
• Proficiency with common development tools (e.g., version control systems such as Git, debugging tools, build environments)
• Familiarity with additional IT domains (e.g., networking, systems, or databases) is a plus
• Ability to follow detailed technical specifications and requirements
• Strong problem\-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non\-technical audiences
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Willingness and ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools

Experience maintaining middleware REST API services.
