Job Description
Curinos is seeking a Head, AI Platform Engineering to lead the AI Platform team building the foundational AI capabilities that enable compliant, safe, production\-grade AI in our B2B SaaS Decision Intelligence Platform in the FinTech vertical. The AI Platform is a force multiplier at Curinos. This role is responsible for making advanced AI—LLMs, agents, and tools—reliable, governed, and easy to ship, so product teams can focus on delivering client value.
You will lead a talented team of AI scientists and ML engineers, work with product managers, and partner with Data Platform and client\-facing product teams in bringing to life LLM\-powered features, agentic/tool‑calling workflows, and MCP server–based tool integrations.
As a company that specializes in data\-driven insights in a highly regulated industry, the reliability, scalability, and effectiveness of our AI platform are integral to our product offerings. This role requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong collaboration across engineering, data science, and product teams, as well as the skill to manage and mentor team members in their professional development. You will exercise your executive presence to influence internal stakeholders, including executive leadership, and represent Curinos AI with clients and external technology partners.
Responsibilities
- Own a pragmatic AI Platform roadmap focused on reuse, adoption, and production readiness of components that reduce friction and accelerate AI feature delivery across product teams
- Lead the design, engineering, delivery of scalable AI platform services, (e.g., extraction, assistants, chatbots) agentic / tool‑calling workflows, LLM‑backed systems
- Drive adoption and integration of MCP servers in our products as a first‑class mechanism for exposing tools and data to agents, using standardized, governed patterns
- Ensure observability of quality, safety, latency, costs across all AI\-enabled products, including guardrails, evaluation patterns and safe defaults, consistent with company\-wide standards of governance
- Lead and grow a team of AI engineers, setting a high technical bar through architecture reviews, coaching, SDLC, CI/CD, and clear ownership expectations
- Represent AI Platform with executive leadership, working closely with product managers, product teams and external technology partners
- Significant experience (10\+yrs) and demonstrable track record leading data science, AI, engineering teams building and operating production platforms
- Hands‑on experience with LLM‑based systems, agentic or tool‑calling architectures, MCP servers and/or ML/AI services in production
- Experience with cloud platforms and strong working experience of data science, AI, and ML frameworks; Databricks and PySpark highly preferred
- You have exceptional communication skills that can be delivered in the context of your audience from deep science to business decision\-makers
- You possess strong interpersonal skills and an ability to influence others around you towards data\-driven business goals
- You can quickly pivot and act with agility as dictated by the needs of the business
- You hold an advanced degree (PhD preferred) or equivalent career experience in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline

Base Salary Range:$160,000\-$220,000 (plus Bonus)
